
French star Karim Benzema, captain of Al-Ittihad, has been named the Best Player of the Roshn Saudi Pro League for the 2024–2025 season, following an outstanding campaign in which he led “Al-Ameed” to clinch the title two rounds before the end of the competition.
The Roshn League’s official account on X announced Benzema as the winner, surpassing a group of top-tier talents, including Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo (Al-Nassr), Salem Al-Dawsari (Al-Hilal), Brazilian defender Roger Ibañez (Al-Ahli), and Argentine midfielder Cristian Guanca (Al-Shabab).
Benzema delivered a stellar performance throughout the season, scoring 21 goals and providing 9 assists for Al-Ittihad, affirming his status as one of the league’s most prominent stars.
Meanwhile, Salem Al-Dawsari was awarded the Best Saudi Player of the season, edging out competition from Abdulrahman Al-Aboud (Al-Ittihad), Turki Al-Ammar (Al-Qadsiah), Musab Al-Juwair (Al-Shabab), and Abdullah Al-Salem (Al-Khaleej).
Cristiano Ronaldo received the Golden Boot after finishing as the league’s top scorer. French coach Laurent Blanc was honored as Best Coach, while Belgian goalkeeper Koen Casteels claimed the Best Goalkeeper award.
The Best Emerging Talent award was given to Musab Al-Juwair, recognizing his exceptional potential and performance throughout the season.
