مدينة سلطان صرح طبي كبير يخدم الإنسان

شاءت الظروف الصحية أن أنتقل إلى مدينة صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز للخدمات الإنسانية في الرياض، و ذلك بطائرة الإخلاء الطبي من جدة، والحقيقة حينها كان الأمل يراودني، والخوف ينازعني من المستقبل المجهول الذي أخشى أن ينتظرني، لكن مدينة الأمير سلطان كانت بكل الحب والاهتمام تستقبلني، وبكثير من اللمسات الإنسانية التي تنُم عن التقدير والاحترام تبهرني، وعن الدور الرائد الذي تقوم به في عز النهار أو في جنح الظلام تحنضنني لتطبّبني، كان هدفها منصبا على الاهتمام بالإنسان أين كان، و العمل الانساني وفق منهجية واضحة لاتقبل التردد والتسويف والاستسلام، وكل شيء مدروس، ووفق نظام صارم وإتقان .

مدينة الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز وهج مضئ في سماء بلادي تلمع فيه نجوم طاقمه ونظامه وإداراته وسمعته التي تعدت الحدود.

شاءت الظروف الصحية أن أزورها بحثاً عن العلاج ، فوجدت فيها فريقاً مدربا متقنا هو حتما لقدرات بشرية أحسنت الدولة تأهيلها ،و هم عنوان المواطنة الصالحة المسؤولة.

رحم الله الأمير الإنسان سلطان الخير الذي ترك لنا عملا صالحا ننهل منه، وخلّف لنا صرحاً طبياّ وانسانياً ينافس صروحا كُثر ، ديدنه العمل الجاد الذي أذهل كل منصف وواصف.

وحتى يكون للكلام معنى إليكم تجربتي ورحلتي التي عشتها في ربوع هذه المدينة الصحية المبهرة .

أتيتها والألم يعتصرني وطائره الإخلاء الطبي تودعني، والإسعاف الطبي ينقلني ، فإذا مدينة سلطان عند مدخلها تستقبلني، وفي لمح البصر كانت اجراءت الدخول تغمرني بطيبها وكرمها وروعة استقبالها .ومن حسن حظي أن يكون استشاري الجراحة المسؤول عن حالتي د عبدالرحمن شجاع، وياله من رجل شجاع ، الطب لديه هوى ومتاع ، والاحترافية في عُرفه لا تقبل أي مساومة أو صراع وجدت منه كل احترافية واهتمام، وكم زارني في بكور الصباح وفي آخر الليل والناس نيام، صاحب خلق ودين وهدوء وإبتسام، وتخصص دقيق نكن له كل احترام.

وهذا نموذج مشرف مع بقية الفريق الطبي الرائع الذي شاء حظي أن أتعامل معه، و لن أنسى الدكتور عويضة الدوسري استشاري الأمراض المعدية، والدكتورة ايناس شاهين المسئولة عن تقييم واستقبال الحالة، ودكتور الألم محمد زرعة والفريق الطبي والتمريضي المحترف المكلف بالإشراف على الجناح الطبي على وجة الخصوص.

وكذلك المدير المناوب ذلك الرجل الخلوق صاحب عبارة أبشر وسم الأستاذ خالد باشراحيل .

ماذا أصف وأقول وأنا أرى كل هذه الجوانب المشرقة في بلادي وفي مدينة الغالي على قلوب الشعب السعودي وبقية الشعوب الأخرى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الإنسان سلطان بن عبدالعزيز، رحمك الله يا أمير الإنسانية وحبيب القلوب والشعوب أن تركت للسعودية و للإنسانية عموماّ صرحاّ طبياّ لا مثيل له وسط واحة غناء الخضرة تحيط بها في كل مكان وتغري كل إنسان بتجديد النشاط واستنشاق الهواء الصحي في شتى جوانبها المختلفة.

أقف احتراما وتقديرا للجهود المبذولة والتي جعلت من هذه المدينة الطبية مقصد الزوار ليل نهار، ودعاء صادقا من القلب لفريقها العامل نساءّ ورجالاّ أن يبارك الله أعمالهم وأعمارهم وذلك لروعة أداءهم من جميع الجنسيات وعلى رأسهم رجال وبنات الوطن الذين يقومون بتدريب المرضى، وحثهم على المحافظة على لياقتهم بأنفس هينة طيبة وبروح صبورة مثابرة تعكس الولاء نحو الوطن وحب العمل من أجله.

Sultan City is a major medical institution dedicated to serving humanity.
Health circumstances led to my transfer to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in Riyadh, aboard a medical evacuation flight from Jeddah. At the time, hope accompanied me, yet fear competed with it as I contemplated the uncertain future that I feared might lie ahead.
Prince Sultan City, however, welcomed me with warmth, care, and compassion. Its many humane gestures—reflecting genuine appreciation and respect—left a profound impression on me. Day and night, it embraced me with care and treatment, fulfilling its pioneering humanitarian mission. Its primary concern was the human being, wherever that person might come from, and its humanitarian work followed a clear and disciplined approach that allowed no room for hesitation, delay, or surrender. Everything was carefully planned, governed by a rigorous system, and carried out with remarkable precision.
Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City is a radiant beacon in the sky of my homeland, illuminated by the stars of its staff, its systems, its administration, and a reputation that has reached far beyond the nation’s borders.
My health circumstances brought me there in search of treatment, and what I found was a highly trained and accomplished team—a testament to the human capabilities that the state has invested in developing and preparing. They embody responsible citizenship at its finest.
May God have mercy on Prince Sultan, the humanitarian and the Prince of Goodness, who left behind an enduring good deed from which we continue to benefit. He bequeathed to us a medical and humanitarian institution capable of standing proudly among the world’s distinguished institutions—an institution whose hallmark is serious, dedicated work that commands the admiration of every fair-minded observer.
For these words to have their full meaning, allow me to share my own experience and the journey I lived within this remarkable healthcare city.
I arrived overwhelmed by pain. The medical evacuation aircraft had delivered me, and an ambulance transported me onward. At the entrance, Prince Sultan City received me, and within moments the admission procedures surrounded me with kindness, generosity, and an extraordinary sense of welcome.
I was fortunate that the surgical consultant responsible for my case was Dr. Abdulrahman Shujaa—and what a courageous and admirable man he proved to be. Medicine, for him, is both a passion and a calling, while professionalism is a principle that permits neither compromise nor dispute. From him, I received the highest degree of professional attention and care.
How many times did he visit me in the early hours of the morning, and how many times late at night while others slept? He is a man of character and faith, calm in manner and gracious in his smile, possessing a highly specialized expertise that deserves the utmost respect.
He represents one distinguished example among the wonderful medical team with whom I was fortunate to interact. I will also never forget Dr. Owaidah Al-Dosari, Consultant in Infectious Diseases; Dr. Enas Shaheen, who was responsible for assessing and receiving my case; Dr. Mohammed Zaraa, the pain specialist; and the professional medical and nursing teams entrusted with supervising the medical ward in particular.
Nor can I forget the duty manager, Mr. Khalid Bashraheel, a man of fine character whose reassuring words, “Abshir”—“Consider it done; we are here for you”—seemed to capture the spirit of his gracious personality.
What can I possibly describe, and what more can I say, when I see so many bright and inspiring aspects of my homeland embodied in a city bearing the name of a man so dear to the hearts of the Saudi people and many others: His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz?
May God have mercy on you, Prince of Humanity, beloved by hearts and peoples. You left Saudi Arabia—and humanity at large—a medical institution unlike any other, standing amid a lush green oasis whose beauty surrounds it on every side and invites every visitor to renew both body and spirit and breathe the fresh, healing air throughout its grounds.
I stand in respect and appreciation of the tremendous efforts that have made this medical city a destination for people seeking its services day and night. From the depths of my heart, I pray that God bless the work and lives of all its staff, women and men alike, from every nationality, for the excellence with which they perform their duties.
At the forefront are the sons and daughters of this nation who train patients and encourage them to maintain their physical fitness and independence with kindness, patience, and perseverance. Their dedication reflects both loyalty to their country and a genuine love of serving it.
