مكة المكرمة – 4 نوفمبر 2025: استقبلت شركة أم القرى للتنمية والإعمار، المالك والمُطوّر والمشغّل لوجهة مسار، في مقرها الرئيسي بمكة المكرمة، المهندس عبدالله بن مفطر الشمراني، الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية، والوفد المرافق له، في زيارةٍ هدفت إلى الاطلاع على أبرز منجزات المشروع ومراحل تنفيذه، والتأكيد على أهمية الجوانب الجيولوجية الحيوية لموقعه الاستراتيجي بالقرب من الحرم المكي الشريف.
وخلال الزيارة، استعرض فريق شركة أم القرى أبرز مستجدات تنفيذ “وجهة مسار”، وما تحقق من إنجازاتٍ نوعيٍة في تطويره، باعتبارها نموذجًا حضريًا متكاملًا، ويعزز مكانة مكة المكرمة كوجهة عالمية.
وأكد المهندس عبدالله الشمراني أن وجهة “مسار” تحظى بأهمية خاصة لدى الهيئة من الناحية الجيولوجية، نظرًا لموقعها الاستراتيجي في قلب مكة المكرمة، مشيدًا بتكامل الجهود بين الجهات الحكومية وشركة أم القرى، والعمل بروح الفريق الواحد لتحقيق مستهدفات المشروع.
من جانبه، عبّر الأستاذ ياسر أبو عتيق، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة أم القرى للتنمية والإعمار، عن تقديره لهذه الزيارة، مؤكدًا أن التعاون مع هيئة المساحة الجيولوجية السعودية يجسّد التزام الشركة بتعزيز الشراكات الحكومية، وتقديم نموذج تنموي يليق بمكانة مكة المكرمة، ويخدم سكانها وزوارها.
وتأتي هذه الزيارة في إطار حرص الجهات المعنية على دعم المشاريع التنموية الكبرى، وتأكيد أهمية التكامل بين القطاعين العام والخاص في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
The CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey Highlights the Significance of Masar Destination in Makkah
Makkah, 4 November 2025 – Umm AlQura for Development & Construction, the owner, developer, and operator of MasarDestination, welcomed Eng. Abdullah bin Muftar Al-Shamrani, CEO of the Saudi Geological Survey, and his accompanying delegation to its headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The visit focused on reviewing the latest progress and milestones of the Masar Destination project, highlighting its strategic location near the Holy Mosque and the vital geological considerations that underpin its development.
During the visit, the Umm AlQura team presented an overview of the project’s key implementation phases and achievements.Masar Destination represents an integrated urban model while reinforcing the city’s position as a global destination.
Eng. Al-Shamrani emphasized the special significance of Masarfrom a geological perspective, given its location in the heart of Makkah. He commended the collaborative efforts between government entities and Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction, noting their unified efforts to realize the project’s objectives.
For his part, Mr. Yasser Abuateek, CEO of Umm Al Qura for Development & Construction, expressed his appreciation and welcomed the visit as a step forward in joint efforts with the Saudi Geological Survey, emphasizing the importance of partnerships with government entities to deliver a development model befitting Makkah’s stature, serving both its residents and visitors.
